After posting about Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki, I felt the need to spotlight my all time favorite Japanese photographer, Daidō Moriyama. Moriyama’s work primarily focuses on the breakdown of traditional cultural values in post-war Japan. His work has held a haunting presence in my life ever since I first stumbled upon him many years ago.

Miguel Reveriego shoots Meghan Collison and Karolin Wolter for the July 2009 issue of Vogue Russia. As a sidenote, I really wish the US Vogue would start taking bigger risks with their photoshoots. It’s rather unfortunate to have to continually seek out $15 foreign magazines just to come across a quality shoot. Anna, are you listening? Probably not.
