The Glue Society has unveiled its latest installation at the Sculpture by the Sea festival in Aarhus in Denmark. The piece, entitled “It wasn’t meant to end like this”, is a huge mechanical digger that seems to have buried itself under 300 tonnes of rubble. It’s terribly simple, albeit terribly creative and thought provoking. I love it.

This is the most amazing thing I’ve seen in awhile. Absolutely beautiful photographs of abandoned places in Japan (amusement parks, coal mines, train stations, and even entire communities), all shot by Japanese photographer Shibakouen Hamutarou. Sofia Sanchez & Mauro Mongiello are a fashion photography dou based in Paris, France. They have shot for Numéro, New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, Russian Vogue, Japanese Vogue, and Italian Vogue just to name a few.
Based in Paris, Sofia & Mauro met in Buenos Aires (Argentina). Sofia was studying cinema while Mauro was playing music in a rock band. After moving to Paris they won the Picto prize for young fashion photographers in 2002 and held their first exhibition at “Le Palais de Tokyo” in Paris.
