My buddy Adam over at PICDIT.com has just started a new photography publication on Flickr called Remember This Name. In Adam’s own words:
REMEMBER THIS NAME is a photography publication I just started on Flickr where users submit their best photos into the group Flickr pool, and every so often I will select a handful of the most interesting ones, send ‘em out to print, and they will be available for everyone to enjoy in amazing booklet form. So the join the group, submit your best work, and don’t be afraid to spread the word!
I would encourage any of you up-and-coming photographers to go and participate. One of the things I learned the hard way is that you should really take advantage of absolutely every opportunity there is to get your name out there. Photography is an outrageously competitive field and if you’re not doing everything you possibly can to get ahead, you’re probably not going to make it very far.
