Irving Penn Has Died

Just found out that Irving Penn has died at the age of 92. I hate to summarize the life of a legend like Irving Penn in a blog post, so I won’t. I will just say that I’ve had the privilege of viewing some of his famed work up close and hands on in the archives of the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, and I will always cherish that small–albeit impersonal–connection I had with him and the impression his work left upon me.
