These are genius. Very appropriately themed and so Ellen Von Unwerth style. Usually for advertising campaigns photographers have to compromise their creative freedom, but it looks like Absolut gave Ellen the O.K. for her total artistic vison.

I’m not sure why, but I don’t see much of von Unwerth in these photographs… They almost feel squeaky, candy-coated and pretentious, unlike the brillant and raw Revenge story, or even the recent unashamedly naughty Tank Magazine…
