Good news everyone! Pocket Camera Retro Wednesdays will be returning this week after its unannounced, and surely unoticed, temporary hiatus. I had actually lost my camera, which explains everything and I can simply end this sentenence without giving you anymore details… right about now.
Also, you may have–or may not have–noticed the new site design. It’s still in the early stages as I am slowly polishing everything off and trying to add some more functionality to the site. Hope you enjoy.

The previous site design ran into a terribly unfortunate error and consequently died at the hands of some Polish people and seven hundred hot dogs. Long story short, the site will look very ugly for the next few hours while we put up the new design. Sorry!

I just got back from Austin and I’m about to head to class. Doing a model shoot tonight (no idea who the model is). Aside from that, it’s been a really slow day for the visual arts. Hopefully it’ll pick up this week. In the meantime, I’ve posted a sneak-peek of this weeks Pocket Camera Retro Wednesday, seen above.

A Rem Koolhaas-designed Mandarin Oriental hotel caught fire Monday night in the city of Beijing, after being showered with a burst of fireworks. I have never seen a fire this big in my life. More info on the fire here.
Sort of puts our tiny, frail human figures into perspective; because in the galactic sense, this fire probably registers as subatomic.
