Camilla Åkrans is a fashion photographer from Sweden currently killing it in New York. For this spotlight I am highlighting two of Camilla’s shoots. Sofia Sanchez & Mauro Mongiello are a fashion photography dou based in Paris, France. They have shot for Numéro, New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, Russian Vogue, Japanese Vogue, and Italian Vogue just to name a few.
Based in Paris, Sofia & Mauro met in Buenos Aires (Argentina). Sofia was studying cinema while Mauro was playing music in a rock band. After moving to Paris they won the Picto prize for young fashion photographers in 2002 and held their first exhibition at “Le Palais de Tokyo” in Paris.

Merlin Bronques is an American musician and photographer, known most famously for his work as a nightlife/boob photographer for lastnightsparty.com. His work is basically a hipster friendly, pseudo-artistic reimagining of Girls Gone Wild. Steven Meisel (born 1954) is an American photographer, who obtained popular acclaim with his work in US and Italian Vogue and his photographs of friend Madonna in the latter’s 1992 book Sex designed by Fabien Baron. He is now considered one of the most successful fashion photographers in the industry, shooting regularly for both US and Italian Vogue and lately W.
