I’ve been wanting to do a post on South African photographer Henrik Purienne for a few days now. So, to my surprise this morning, I wake up and see that TRENDLAND has beat me to the punch. Can’t rest on your laurels, or so they say. The line in the images is from Purienne’s website, which is the only place to see his work, and consequently the only place to steal images from. Emma Summerton is a fashion photographer who has shot for basically everyone: 10, Agent Provocateur, Arena, Big, Dazed & Confused, Nylon, Ryoko Tsushin, Self Service, Strenesse, Terry De Havilland, Vogue, Yves Saint Laurent, et al. Her photographs use a lovely combination of color and texture to create an almost palatable ambiance. 
Her works also have a rather Cindy Sherman like video quality about them, as you’ll see in the photograph after the jump.
