I kid you not, Gawker.com has an article up right now entitled “How to Be an Art Vandal”, posted with the above video. … I can’t even bring myself to make fun of this, its that bad.
January 29th I taught a class for some art students on media activism. By actually producing a piece in front of them I hope to give them both the tools and the confidence to be able to go out and re-imagine the public environment they live in on their own terms.

At TOUCHPUPPET we aren’t only concerned with visual BRAINAESTHETICS, we are also concerned with mental BRAINAESTHETICS (we are however, much less concerned with redundancy). In this case, Professor Michael Persinger discusses the affects of psychotropic drugs and generated neuro-realities. It’s basically an hour long and I strongly suggest you watch it when you actually have the time.
One of the interesting topics he discusses is the physical affects of creativity and how people like artists and muscians are actually in a state of being “naturally high” during their creative processes.
