BBC Art Safari special on Takashi Murakami. I caught this when it first aired a few months ago, and just now found it on YouTube. Parts 2 and 3 after the jump.

The Row
This is the video for the Olsen’s The Row collection a couple seasons back, a sort of unusual advertisement/showcase format for a fashion line, but I think it suits the collection. In Ashley’s own words, “I wouldn’t do a fashion show because this is about the personal experience. It wouldn’t translate.”
Of the seemingly endless line up of celebrities playing the role of fashion designer for the sake of spreading their name and filling the piggy bank, this one is on a different plane.

Amazing Top Gear Vietnam Special
I consider myself a rather avid fan of the Top Gear series, and I haven’t missed an episode yet this season. I just finished watching Episode 8 of Season 12, and I must say, even if you don’t consider yourself a car enthusiast, it’s still very much worth your watch. Absolutely hilarious and amazing. You’ll need a torrent program like uTorrent to download.

The Amazing Street Art of Joshua Allen Harris
Call us boring and simple-minded, but before we saw the work of street artist Joshua Allen Harris we never once considered the artistic possibilities of subway exhaust. Using only tape and garbage bags, Harris creates giant inflatable animals that become animated when fastened to a sidewalk grate. Steven Psyllos caught up with Harris recently to discuss his older works (including a bear and a giraffe) and unveil a new beast that looks not unlike the Cloverfield monster.
